This "Kyusu" Tokoname-Yaki teapot is made with the Nerikomi/cut technique which is created by mixing several clays on a potter's wheel. The pattern varies depending on the spinning speed and the pressure it gets. Applying cuts on the surface makes a more unique and complex design.
